High-performance IPv4/IPv6 Capabilities

Built on hardware-based dual IPv4/IPv6 stack, the series supports multiple tunneling technologies, comprehensive Layer 3 routing protocols, multicast and policy routing. All ports deliver wire-speed forwarding with average latency below 2μs, delivering complete IPv4/IPv6 solutions.

Virtualization

It supports horizontal virtualization to combine multiple physical switches into one logical device for unified management.
  • Simplified Management: Access the unified logical device via any port of any member switch to configure and manage the whole system.
  • Simplified Services: Control protocols run on the virtual device collectively. Combined with cross-device link aggregation, it replaces STP, reduces protocol interactions and accelerates network convergence.
  • Flexible Scalability: Supports hot plugging for device expansion without service interruption.
  • High Reliability: Link aggregation boosts link reliability; automatic Master switchover realizes 1:N device redundancy; real-time protocol backup ensures 1:N protocol reliability.
  • Higher Performance: The overall capacity and port density equal the sum of all member devices, greatly lifting switching performance.


Comprehensive Security Mechanisms

Integrated with EAD, it unifies endpoint and network security for active, full-range defense against viruses and malware.

It supports MAC authentication, 802.1X and Portal authentication, plus static/dynamic binding of user information and dynamic delivery of VLAN, QoS and ACL policies. It works with H3C iMC to monitor online users and block illegal network activities.

Enhanced ACL supports large-capacity ingress/egress rules and VLAN-based deployment to save resources and simplify configuration.

Multi-level Reliability

Selected models adopt hot-swappable dual power supplies and dual fans with AC/DC options. The system features fault detection, alarm and temperature-based fan speed adjustment for higher equipment reliability.

It also supports LACP, STP/RSTP/MSTP, Smart Link, RRPP, IRF, 1:N redundancy, ring stacking and cross-device link aggregation, ensuring stable operation under heavy service loads.

Professional Lightning Protection

Built-in lightning protection supports up to 10KV surge resistance, reducing device damage in harsh environments.

PoE Function

PoE-enabled models supply power remotely to APs, cameras and other PDs. Integrated AI-powered PoE delivers two advanced features:
  • Fast PoE: Powers up connected devices within seconds upon switch startup.
  • Perpetual PoE: Maintains power supply during switch hot reboot.


Rich QoS Policies

It provides L2-L4 packet filtering and traffic classification based on MAC, IP, TCP/UDP port, protocol and VLAN. Flexible queue scheduling, CAR and bidirectional port mirroring are available for network monitoring and troubleshooting.

Network Slicing

It creates multiple isolated virtual networks on a single physical infrastructure to allocate resources and differentiated scheduling for various services. Multiple slicing channels with independent queues can be configured on each port without mutual interference.

Powerful Manageability

Equipped with Console port and out-of-band management port, it supports SNMPv1/v2/v3, iMC, CLI, Web, Telnet and SSH2.0 for convenient and secure management.

It analyzes network traffic and generates reports to optimize network layout. With 1G memory, it accommodates large address tables and ACLs for stable operation.

Functions like automatic terminal identification, visualized endpoint management, one-click device replacement, batch configuration, resource monitoring and vertical virtualization are supported. The location indicator flashes rapidly to help locate devices on site.
